Entropics admitted as Swesif member

Entropics was admitted as a member of Swesif, the Swedish Sustainable Investment Forum, in January. By joining Swesif, Entropics further emphasizes the ambition to lead the way concerning sustainable and responsible cat bond investments.

– The membership is an acknowledgement of the hard work we have put down during our first year of management. Not only has Entropics joined the UN PRI, but also developed models for responsible cat bond investments, says Robert Lindblom, CEO of Entropics.

Already before starting operations, Entropics adopted principles for responsible investments. The starting point is that cat bonds per se bring benefits to society by enabling insurance, but to complement this with high standards in our own operations to secure those benefits. Entropics refrains from investments in insurance purposes deemed not to bring sufficient benefits to society.

– We look forward to expanding our network within sustainable and responsible investments in Sweden through our membership, says Mr. Lindblom. Not least do we wish to increase the knowledge of the importance of insurance solutions for improved resilience and crisis preparedness facing climate change.

Swesif is an independent network forum for organisations promoting or working with sustainable investments in Sweden. The organisation works, among other things, with increasing the awareness of sustainable investments, networking to disseminate knowledge and participation in the public debate. Swesif is one of six European SIF member organisations in the European organisation Eurosif.
