Capital Adequacy Reports
Previous years, Entropics capital requirements have been based on the the EU Capital Requirements Regulation (575/2013), though this regulation is only applicable to some investment firms. Article 4.1.2c does not consider some investment firms to be investment firms as defined by the regulation. Included are, among others, investment firms such as Entropics that are only licensed to carry out portfolio management services.
In Sweden, the Capital Requirements Regulation has previously been applied to all investment firms through the Swedish law (2014:968) on special supervision over credit institutions and investment firms. This regulation has been revoked as of January 1, 2018, and hence the Capital Requirements. Hence the Capital Requirements Regulation is no longer applicable to Entropics. Furthermore, the Swedish law (2014:966) on capital buffers and the regulation FFFS 2014:12 are no longer applicable to Entropics as of January 1, 2018.
Hence, Entropics does not, starting January 1, 2018, have to publicize information on capital adequacy on the web site.
